EUGENE BECKERBAUER Husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many, Eugene Beckerbauer, passed away March 25, 2011, after a long illness. He was born in Omaha, Neb., April 9, 1931, He was in the mortuary business for over 50 years in California. He was a member of many organizations and was also past president of many organizations. He is survived by his beloved wife, of 40 years, Nancy; daughter, Michelle; son, Tony; grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pearle Beckerbauer; and sister, Rodney. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved big band music, trains, traveling and especially his dogs, Muffy and Max. He retired and moved to Las Vegas in 1999. Funeral services were held in California. A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road in Henderson. IN lieu of flowers, please make donations to Polio Plus or the Foundation through Rotary in his name.

Nancy:I'm going to miss Gene I remember those talks me and him would have.Not to do alot about anything but we always managed to talk about something.He was a very interesting man I would say,and I never herad anyone that didn't like gene.
