FRANK ERRICHETTO Obituary

FRANK ERRICHETTO Frank Thomas "Chet" Errichetto, 65, passed away Wednesday morning August 29, 2018 in Sahuarita, Ariz. from complications of COPD. HIs family was with him on the eve of his passing. He was born February 15, 1953 in Sharon, Penn. to the late Frank and Helen (nee Chambers) Errichetto. Throughout his youth in Masury, Ohio, Frank was outgoing and athletic. He played baseball, football and basketball at Brookfield High School. He received an art degree from Thiel College in Greenville, Penn., where he played baseball and was a member of the Alpha Chi Ro Fraternity. He was selected to the 1973 All Conference Presidents Athletic Baseball Team and also won the conference batting title that same year. Shortly after graduating from Thiel in 1976, he married, relocated to Las Vegas and started a family. He was a skilled and creative carpenter who earned a living designing and building custom doors and supervising door shops. He also coached Little League and youth basketball. In 1994, Frank was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Though it affected his hands, he continued to use his artistic abilities. Family and friends recall his intricate pumpkins on Halloween and elaborate sandcastles on summer beach vacations. In 2006, Frank returned to Eastern Ohio; however, always having a fondness for sun and warmth, he relocated to Arizona in 2015. There he resided in an independent senior community and enjoyed being a member of the choir and playing mahjong with his friends. Frank was an early riser, a hard worker and a lover of music. Even though many friends had not seen him in a long time, he was always endeared and loved in their hearts. He left a lasting impression on all he met and will be truly missed. He preceded his sister, Gay Errichetto of Masury, OH, in death by just 11 days. He is survived by his daughter, Larissa (Byron) Evans; son, Nick Errichetto; grandson, Cru Evans; and a number of nieces and nephews. Private services will be held. Donations in his memory to the National MS Society or Oshyn Hospice are appreciated.

It was my pleasure to grow up with you, go to school with you. Play baseball and basketball with you. I am glad that you were a member of The Brookfield Valley Varsity Baseball team of 1971 that won the Championship with a 17-3 record. Could not have done it without you, Frank! My sincere condolences to to your family. You are missed my friend.

Our condolences to the family and most especially to Frank's children. We had the best of Frank raising our children on Isola. To this day Scott and Ali love the fun the outdoors and having Frank across the street. We talk about it often... Especially when Pat ran into the garage and Frank ran across the street and said I'll fix it, whew. Watching beautiful Larissa grow up and the numerous video's we still have of Scott and Nick. How excited I was for my 9 lb. boy but nope Frank advised me his was over 10 lbs..I have a heavy heart, but no more suffering.
Take care everyone and know my thoughts and prayers are with you.. Jay, Pat, Scott and Ali Johnson...

Dear Larissa and Nick,
Your father was so very well liked in high school. He was kind to everyone, funny, sweet, and handsome too! Such a good young man would surely grow to become a beloved father. I am so sorry for his passing. He will be remembered by our Class of 71, because we had a very special and pretty close high school class.
Prayers for your family
Sincerely,
Mary Kirsch Garvey

He made our sweet little neighborhood on Isola a fun place for all the kids. Everyone looked forward to seeing how the house was decorated with pumpkins and at Christmas. We never know how many lives we touch.
Love and peace,
Kate
