Jeanne, I am sorry to read about your father's passing. But I have a feeling he left this world a contented man. He had a life that spanned 83 years and a marriage that lasted 57 years. He got to watch his 4 children grow and then he got to enjoy 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I'm sure he basked in all that love. Please accept my condolences and I hope all of your precious memories of your father will help you through your grief.

I had the pleasure of working for Jerry twice in my life. The first time I was as young and dumb as I could get, wouldn't listen to much of his wisdom and fought him at every turn. The second time I was a bit older and a bit less dumb. I learned things from Jerry about life and HVAC that I still use everyday. I still think of Jerry often as I run my own HVAC company that is largely a success due to the lessons I learned from him. He was always willing to share his ideas, wisdom and experience, that is a rare gift in an industry of cut throats. He had a great sense of humor and was always joking around as he created his next invention. Las Vegas has lost and good guy and an air conditioning legend who not only fathered 4 children but also dozens of A/C techs and companies that otherwise might not have made it. He was my mentor as well... Dan Ricken
