Jessica Mayorga Obituary
JESSICA RAE MAYORGA Jessica Rae Mayorga, 21. Our beloved Jessica passed away suddenly, October 9, 2011. Born April 1, 1990 in Santa Barbara, Calif., Jessica moved to Las Vegas in 1999. Jessica was active in AYSO soccer for many years and was a proud member of Palo Verde high school's marching band. After graduating from Palo Verde in 2008, Jessica attended UNLV and was a current student of CSN's Dental Assistant Program, preparing to graduate next May. Jessica met the love of her life, Robert Cook and they excitedly announced their engagement last Christmas Eve; they planned to marry shortly after Robert's graduation. Jessica is survived by her parents, Ray and Julie Mayorga; brother, Justin Mayorga; grandmother, Joyce Young; uncle, Doug Young; fiance, Robert Cook; and numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 14, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Las Vegas. Jessica was an advocate of organ donation; please consider giving the gift of life.

Jessica was my classmate in dental assistant school. She was a bright and talented young woman with the world in reach. But God needed an Angel; we are all less without her.

I remember seeing Jessica from my graduating class at palo of 2008. I can't believe something so tragic could happen and life could be so short as someones life was just starting. god bless

God bless you all. I remember now seeing her out on the soccer field with the raptors as a helper I believe(?). This is a true tragedy.

From working with her at Ben & Jerry's and making her sandwiches at Port of Subs I always loved seeing Jessica. Also liked watching her draw hearts and see her love grow with Robert. I wish I could be there at the service, but my heart goes out to her family. I'm really gonna miss your light in this world Jessica. <3
