LARRY NEESE Lawrence R. "Larry" Neese, 85, of Norman, Okla., passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman. He was born Aug. 26, 1929, in Ulysses, Kan., the son of Darrel Edwin and Elsie Elma (nee Garrison) Neese. He graduated from Moffat Colorado High School in 1947, and attended college in Ft. Collins, Colo. Larry married Donna Mae Graber March 6, 1966, in Las Vegas. They were longtime residents of Las Vegas, and later Oklahoma. Larry retired in 1993 as manager of drilling operations for REECO. He was a member of Chisolm Trail Presbyterian Church in Yukon, Okla., and Operating Engineers Local #12. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Weston G. Birket; and his brothers, Harold and Marvin Neese. He is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Theron , Donald and Kerry Neese and Clifford Birket III and his wife, Carla, all of Norman; daughters, Sandra Moore and her husband, Steve of Las Vegas, and Angelita Patton of Victoria, Texas; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS, 67501, (620) 663-3327. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2015, at the Abbyville Cemetery, Abbyville, Kan., with Pastor Keith Dellenbaugh officiating.
