Hamon, Lydia

(nee Florez) Passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 72. Dear Mother of Anthony, Tami, and Shilo. Proud Grandmother of Johnny, Justin, Tara, Adryna, David, Anthony Jr, and Amanda. Great-grandmother of Davion, Mathue, Raidyn, Lilly, Emilio, Camilla, and John Taylor. Sister of Johnny Joe and Narcisco Jr. Preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings, and her husband John. Also survived by stepdaughter Sherrone, many step-grandchildren, other relatives and lots of friends.

To know her was to love her and to be loved by her was a beautiful blessing. She had a beautiful soul, a heart of gold, an infectious laugh, and a smile that melted your heart. She was always up for an adventure whether it was planned or last minute.

Our world has grown a little dimmer as the bright light of our family has left us. Private services will be held

Lydia and us met back in 1974 . She was a sweet sole we met as a Military family assigned in LV. Our children played in the courtyard together . She took us (kids) so far from our families into her heart and home .She treated us like family from the start , knowing we were alone out there ! We LOVED her happy and generous nature from the begin . She made the kids cookies with homemade tortillas and cinn. & sugar . God help her , she tried to teach me the art of making tortillas! Which she had been making since she was 8 years old ." NOT"hers were soft & fluffy , where mine were hard like friz-beez !We LOVED her laughter & great quick smile , that was there always on the ready for everyone . We had Tony help US to surpise his Mom with our visit ! We had hope to come visit again but that wasn´t to be . When we got together there wasn´t a moment of silence we had so much to share .We will AGAIN get together my friend , my sister and the Marathon chatter will happen!! Always in our Heart , Leon & Barbara Roberts
