MARILYN BEEBE Marilyn Joy Beebe, 83, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. Marilyn was born December 15, 1934, in Bassett Forks, Virginia, to Shelburne and Cora (nee Prillaman) Nash. Growing up in Virginia, she was a member of the Church of the Brethren and attended Bridgewater College. Marilyn also attended Asbury College in Kentucky and eventually moved to Chicago to work. Marilyn married Lawrence Beebe September 21, 1957, in Chicago. She worked for AT&T in Chicago until retirement and moved to Las Vegas in 1998. Marilyn loved her family, talking to friends, pets, nature, music and all animals. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence; her sisters, Marie Latour, Lois Dixon and Bonnie Barker; her brother, Sidney Nash; and her grandson, Troy Ihnen. Marilyn is survived by her son, Clifton of Las Vegas; daughter, Linda (Dan) Ihnen of Las Vegas; and grandsons, Adam Ihnen of Las Vegas and Eric Ihnen of Japan. Services will be in Illinois.
