It is with such heartbreak to hear of Mary's passing. I worked with Mary at the Sundance/Fitzgeralds many year's ago and remember her fondly; especially that laugh.. I will cherish a picture of her and I together until we meet again. My condolences to the family and all those who knew and loved her.

Dear Mary if only you could read these words I impart upon your departure from this life. I should be grateful to you for the favor once bestowed upon me at a low time in my life, but the moment that is most precious to me is when you visited me unannounced while a student at the famed BYU. It was a total shock and great surprise when I was feeling so lonely and you seemed to pop in at the right moment to encourage me. This is the moment I will always cherish. i cant believe that you are not here. i know that you are in a better place, but i still miss you. i am so proud of you, the courage and strength you showed in the last year, demonstrated the type of person you are.i will miss your thoughtfulness, your caring, your smile and of course your laughter. i guess MOM missed you the most and she wanted to spend more time with you, so she put out the call. I met Mary Crane at the Fitzgeralds Hotel in 1990, and She was my very first boss at the front desk. She was such a good person, and I have to admit that I would not have had the success of today if it had not been for Mary Crane and her being such a kind person to me. I will always remember Mary. I met Mary in 1995 at Fitzgeralds. Mary was always a straight forward speaking person. I learned immediately from Mary that was the type of personI wanted to be. Honest and to tell it like it is. I also learned that even though I couldn't hit a home run. I still made difference playing on her team.

One of the most pleasant, kind and gracious people I ever had the pleasure of working with. Even if it had been months since we had seen each other, she always greeted me with a warm smile that made me feel like she was genuinely glad to see me. She will be missed but always in my heart.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mary at Pala Casino. The moment for me that was most special was "Fun Day" for employees and she was the first to greet me at my car. On several encounters previous she would always make it a point to say hello. This day, however she did something magical, Mary greeted me and took my hand and looked at me and said how much she appreciated my work and dedication and how valued I am. I was so deeply moved by her words and sincerity I shed tears. I wish that I had more time to get to know this remarkable person. She had such a presence I will always cherish. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Jeanne and family. She will be forever missed ,and always remembered.

I really appreciate the life of Mary Crane. I worked with her as a humble team member at Pala Casino Hotel Spa. She is the only person who sent me a birthday card each year for the last five years. I love her for that. I liked her style of direct, friendly, and personable contact with people who worked with and for her. I pray that Almighty God will bless her with light perpetual. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Words cannot express how sad we are over Mary's passing. My sister and I did not know until high school that we were related, then we never used our names, it was always "Cuz". Mary was an amazing person and will always have a special place in our hearts. We will miss her and have very fond memories. To Jeanne and Marys family, when I spoke with her just before her moms services, she had such wonderful things to say about you all. I know that you meant the world to her. Everyone who knew Mary from elementary, middle and high school knew that she was super-smart and a very kind person with a great sense of humor. Mary, Mary, Mary. How sad I am to hear of your passing. You were one tough boss but with a heart of gold. I learned a lot from you and I especially loved how you enjoyed the holidays. I thought I was the only one that went to the extremes until I met you. Our careers took different paths, but will always remember visiting you at Pala Casino which was the last time I saw you several years back. You get to know someone pretty well when you work with them for almost 12 years. You always have had my respect and love. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace, Mary.

I just found out this evening about Mary's passing. I just wish I could have seen her one more time. I was working with Mary when I met my husband and he sent me flowers at work. She said, "Elsy, you're gonna get married! I'm going to lose an admin!" and she was right. She always teased me about that! Lol....I loved her sense of humor. And she was a very smart lady.
