My deepest condolences to Maxine Delisle Family. I have fond memories of Maxine's friendly smile and engaging personality. We had many fine chats at the Clark County Library on my volunteer days. She was a very knowledgeable woman.

To Maxine´s family we send our deepest Aloha! (Aloha means "from the heart." Aloha expresses love, compassion, affection, peace and mercy.) Maxine was my Dad´s (John) friend first, having met at the Senior Center-(cards, my Dad´s favorite). Over time, their friendship extended well outside the centers to their adventures to eateries, movies, community events/activities.... It was a joy seeing Maxine in her element singing with her church choir one Christmas.... Always a treat her spontaneous visits at our home with or without goodies for Dad and her staying to play cards.... By way of Maxine, we have other wonderful people who are now friends as well. With that, I picture Grace, (who went home in August 2020), being among those loving and loved by Maxine being there to greet her! Two songs keep running in my head --- "The River" (by Garth Brooks) -for sure Maxine, to the very day she went home, sailed her `...vessel til the river runs dry...´. The other-- "Goodbye" (sung by Kenny Rogers) `...There´s peace in where you are, maybe all I need to know... ...I´m just glad you came my (our) way...´s not easy to say goodbye´!
