Mike, age 76, passed away on June 30, 2021 at Kindred Las Vegas. He was born May 13, 1945 in New York to Michael Nelub and Helen Bunis Nelub.
Mike went to Rancho High School and later moved to Houston where he graduated Stephen F. Austin High School in 1962. He was drafted in 1965 by the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1967. Mike attended San Jacinto Junior College for HVAC from 1967-1969. He met his wife in 1967 and they raised 3 children. Mike retired in 2000 after a successful career as an HVAC technician.
Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who cared tremendously for his family. He enjoyed working on his blue truck, listening to country music, playing keno machines, NHRA/NASCAR and boating.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Charlotte; son, Michael (Jennifer); daughters, Melanie (Alan) and Cheri; grandchildren, Miranda, Ryan, Marissa and Delaney; twin sister, Andrea Bell and sister, Carol Nelub Bray; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ziesemer and Carla Kubelka; and mother-in-law, Julia Ziesemer. He is preceded in death by his sister, Michele Burrows and his parents.
Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, 1 p.m., at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5830 Mesa Park Dr, Las Vegas, NV, 89135,
