Michelle Parker Obituary

MICHELLE PARKER Michelle Lynn Parker passed away March 18, 2011, after a long battle with complications due to diabetes. She was born in Oxnard, Calif., Jan. 26, 1978. She moved to Las Vegas with her family in 1989 and attended Eldorado High School from 1992 to 1996. She was a server and bartender at Tony Roma's restaurant in Las Vegas beginning in 1998. She eventually managed Tony Roma's restaurants in Las Vegas and Palm Springs, Calif. One of her favorite activities was bowling ("Beers and Bowling") with her bowling team. Michelle's most remarkable attribute was her sense of humor, which she kept throughout her illness. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Parker; father, Jack Parker; brother, Brian Parker; grandmother, Doris Holmes; the love of her life, Scott Owczarzak; and her two dogs, Tiger and Celia. She was an extraordinarily beautiful person and will be deeply missed by her friends and family. No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice or to diabetes research.

Michelle, the sweet, pretty little girl I first met became a gorgeous young lady. Those captivating eyes and amazing smile will be missed. Your beautiful personality could light up a room. I will always remember all of us dancing at my birthday party. I'm sure you now have the Angels laughing and dancing with joy in heaven. We celebrate your life Michelle....only wishing you could have stayed here with us longer. Your life path crossed ours and we are all better people for having known such a lovely soul. I remember when Michelle came to Tony Roma's Summerlin.. She and I clicked instantly.... Michelle was a very upbeat, personable, loving, and kind young lady who loved Betty Boob. She will truly be missed.Heaven definitely has a true angel.. To the Parker family, my condolences to you all.. May God continue to bless you all through these difficult times.. RIP Michelle!!!

Michelle,
I remember the very first time that I laid eyes on you and how quickly you won over our hearts.
My fondest memories though, are of this little girl with long hair and big blue eyes, riding her Big Wheel with her brother around the tennis courts. I remember laughing at the look of surprise on your face as you emerged from under a table, COVERED in salsa and the mortified look on your mother’s face. That was actually the best part. Roller skates, young kids, food table...NOT a good mix.
We love you Michelle and know that everyone who has been fortunate enough to know you will miss you deeply.
Watch over your family and keep them safe.

I went to high school with Michelle. I haven't seen her since our 10 year reunion, but I remember that she was as beautiful when I saw her then as she was throughout high school. She was a wonderful woman. My prayers are with her family during this time.

Hadn't seen you in years, but thinking of all the fun we had back in the Mooose's days with Cristena. I am happy that your pain is now gone, but sad for your family and friends left without you. I will remember you as such a sweet person who always smiled! Rest now my friend!
