Monique was a special lady, one of the real legends of Las Vegas Hospitality Industry. She was proud of her kids, as we spent time talking about them on many occasions. A real leader who was always willing to lend a hand to someone new to town coming into the industry. She touched many of us in the Vegas Hotel industry and her inspiration will never be forgotten.

We were blessed and privileged to know dear Monique and were honoured to be a part of her journey. Monique was one of the bravest people we have ever known, who taught those around her how to live with dignity, strength, grace and humour. We send much love and light to her beautiful family. Sadly, we are away and unable to attend the tribute to her life but we shall celebrate her spirit with a time of silence and meditation at 11:00 a.m. on Friday the 27th of September, 2013. May her eternal spirit bring comfort to her family and may the knowledge that she is but a thought away warm their hearts. xx Hilary and Jan

I will be with you in Spirit tomorrow honoring Monique's Beautiful Spirit and Courage. I am sad knowing she is not on the planet with us, however I know she is on her new journey and will influence everyone she meets. Gone but certainly not forgotten by her many family and friends.

Monique was one of the most courageous and caring people I have ever met. She always looked at the best in people and was supportive of everyone. I treasure every moment I have spent with her and am so glad I was able to spend so much time with her over this past year. Sending love to her entire family!

I got to know Monique professionally through hospitality organizations over the last 5 years. She was such a sweet person that cared about everyone. She was always thinking of others and reaching out to them when she could help. I ran into her last spring at Walmart when she was very ill but fighting to stay with us longer than the doctors told her to expect. And, why was she there? Shopping for others to help her church when she barely had strength. I'll always remember and admire her courage and tenacity! I feel honored to have known you, Monique!
