RICHARD BREITNER Obituary

RICHARD BREITNER Richard Breitner, of Las Vegas, lost his hard-fought battle against cancer Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at 8:15 a.m., while in the care of Nathan Adelson Hospice. He is survived by many friends and co-workers from the Orleans poker room, where he dealt poker since 2006. Richie was an avid and great golfer, with a winning smile and loving heart. In times of tragedy, true friends emerge, so thank you John, Mark, Brian, Leslie and the Mevorah family for helping us all to mend. Richie had a daughter, Hannah, who lives in Hawaii; and a long-time girlfriend, Jody. "We will miss you and love you forever. Rest in peace, beloved friend." Celebration of his life was previously held Sunday, Sept. 8.

I was glad he crossed paths with our family during his lifetime and was saddened to see his body falling apart, while his spirit was strong. Bless you Richie.

Jody, you did a great job and I am sure Richie has a smile on his face as he looks over you. I bet he already has a set tee time.
