Although I worked only a short while at the Tropicana, I remember Robert as a very nice man. My prayers go out to his family.

Words can't express how saddened I was to hear about the passing of Robert. He always brought a smile to my face and was such good fun to be around. May your memories of him help to sustain you during this most difficult time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
I worked with "Zoot" at the Tropicana Hotel back in the good old days when it was the best job in town.
I have good memories of "Zoot".
He was one of the good guys,and like his nickname that everyone knew him by, was a "cool" guy who appreciated the Jazz of the 1950's west coast, especially Chet Baker, and driving foreign sports cars.
He had great stories about his early dealing days, and his favorite hobbies.
He will be missed by many.
Rest in peace my friend.
