Robert Morris Obituary

Robert (Big Bob) Joseph Morris, 42, a Las Vegas resident for 24 years, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2006. He was an active member of the Screen Actors Gild, working on such TV shows as "Alley McBeal" and "Boston Legal", and made documentary films. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was born March 26, 1963, in Mauston, Wis. He is survived by his wife, Sashi; daughter, Sheevani Rose of Las Vegas; mother, Rose; brother, John; and sisters, Anita, Sharon, Lynelle and Terrie of Wisconsin. Bob was extremely proud of his 10 nieces, 12 nephews, four great nieces and seven great nephews, which he spoke about with great love and admiration. A "go to guy" among his friends and colleagues, he touched all who knew him with his happy and cheerful attitude towards life, and often told stories about the past with humorous candor. He was a true "cheesehead" and part owner of the World Champion Green Bay Packers. A "jack of all trades", he loved to tinker with anything and spray paint everything. He was a lover of traveling and stockcar racing. He had a special pride for his Harley Davidson and his motor home, which he loved to create an oasis anywhere he set up camp, inviting all those around him in for drinks, stories and Play Station. His quick wit, genuine loyalty and great friendship will be sorely missed. A true loss for all those who will never have the honor of having gotten to know him. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 6, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Funeral services will be held in Mauston, Wis., later in the week, where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved father.
