Great doc and great person. One of the "experienced" guys to the rookie in 1983. Learned a lot from him, but best was never losing your sense of humor while dodging bullets. Somewhere his spirit is saying "Knock it off, Butthead!"

Shaun will always be a part of my high school memories. We use to hang out at Oni’s house almost every day after school. Shaun would always make fun of me and say “your name is Tya with a “y”, my name is Shaun with a “u”. Shaun was a great man with an awesome spirit. I could always count on him for medical advice and support:) He was always a joy to be around and I will miss him greatly.

I was deeply saddened to read of Shaun's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Shaun in the Emergency Department at Valley Hospital for many years. He was an excellent physician, very kind and compassionate to his patients, their family members, and the staff. Anyone who had the opportunity to know Shaun was totally blessed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God be with you as you grieve his passing. May He heal your hearts, as you remember the wonderful, happy memories of a special man.

I remember Shaun well from my time as a Paramedic at Mercy in the early 80's. We had many great conversations and I continue to retell a story of his residency he told one night in the ED at Desert Springs. My thoughts go out to his family.

Shawn was a wonderful person and fabulous Doctor. We worked together at Lake Mead Hospital Medical Center and he was a true professional and will be missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of Shaun. I had the pleasure of meeting Shaun and working with him in physical therapy. Shaun gave it all he had everytime he was in therapy despite how he was feeling. We will remember his smile, his laugh and his never ending efforts to get better. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Shawn was one of our first Flight For Life Medical Directors. I will always remember his tireless educating and mentoring for the nurses in addition to being a great ED doc and just a great and fun friend.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your and my loved one,Shaun. He was a part of my late husband's, my daughter's and my life for many years. We all loved his good humour,big smile,and always such kindness to both Doug and I. Ihave not seen him for one of our visits in many years but will always love,miss and remember him. He has been & will be in my prayers.
I am so sorry that Sandra and I are unable to be with you at this time.Doug would have been there too were he still alive. Shannon will have to be there for us.

Through my friend Gail and later, their son Patrick Taylor, I have known Shaun since before he moved to Las Vegas. I also knew Shaun, Jr. and Shannon and I know how important Shaun's family was to him. I didn't see him often but I know he was a good doctor, a good Father, and a kind and gentle man. He always had that great smile for everyone. I know he will be missed deeply by his family and I offer my sincere sympathy to them all. Remember that smile always!
