SHIRLEY BELLINGER Obituary

SHIRLEY BELLINGER Shirley (nee Wilson) Bellinger, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born Nov. 20, 1944, to Buford and Esther Wilson in Dundas, Ill. Shirley graduated from East Richland High School in 1962. Shirley married Robert "Bob" Bellinger June 10, 1962, in Olney, Ill. She worked for several years at the Montgomery Ward store. In 1969, they moved to Tucson, Ariz. In the mid 1970's, Bob and Shirley moved to Las Vegas to help establish the US Home Corp division. They later worked to help establish RA Homes of Las Vegas. Bob and Shirley then owned BR Homes here locally which was formed in 1992. Shirley loved animals very much, especially her beloved pets. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, July 1, 2002. Bob and Shirley enjoyed 40 wonderful years together and Shirley's dream of being reunited with Bob again is now being fulfilled. Shirley is survived by her niece, Peggy Smith; great-nephews, Charlie and Zane Smith; sister-in-law, Sharon Phillips; and stepsister, Barbara Fagetti. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Graveside service following at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest.
