STANFORD GRIFFIN Obituary

STANFORD "STAN" GRIFFIN Stanford "Stan" Griffin, 61, passed away Dec. 6, 2017 in Carson City, NV. Stan was born Oct. 24, 1956 to Paul and Virginia Griffin in Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Hattie Pressman and Shirley Chase; and brother, Robert Samuel, all of Las Vegas. Stan is survived by his sisters, Addie Samuel Dawson and Lisa Griffin (Ronnie) Gaston of Las Vegas; and by his brothers, Leon (Dorotha) Samuel of California, Samuel Griffin and Darrell (DD) Griffin, both of Las Vegas. Stan is also survived by his son, Stanford Griffin Jr. of California; daughters, Erica Finley of California, Sequoya Griffin of North Carolina and Layhuanna Griffin (Brian) Bones of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren. Stan graduated from Clark High School in 1974. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at Anointed Tabernacle, 3050 Holly Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
