Stanley Martucci Obituary

STANLEY MARTUCCI Stanley J. Martucci, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away March 18, 2008. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a ten-year resident of Las Vegas. Stan served in the U.S. Army, 7th Cavalry from 1957 to 1959. He owned and operated a business outside of Yankee Stadium for many years. He was the president of the Sons of Italy, Lodge 2158, and served on the Board of the Italian American Club, both in Las Vegas. Stan was well loved by his friends, family and pets, and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his four sons, Luis, Steve, Stan and Chris, and their families; his sister, Joan Cacace; and his life partner, Eileen Del Guercio. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 22, with services immediately following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Interment will be at Palm Valley View Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Italian American Club, 2333 E. Sahara Ave. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society.
