Stephen Madrigal Obituary

STEPHEN MADRIGAL Stephen Madrigal, 60 of Boulder City, passed away Dec. 15, 2010, at his home in Boulder City, where he was a resident of 45 years. He was born Aug. 5, 1950, in Winfield, Kan., to Joseph and Micaela (Amador) Madrigal. Stephen joined the Navy shortly after high school and worked as an electrician for the Bureau of Reclamation and as an auto parts driver for B.C. Auto. Stephen was a member of the Boulder City Elks. Stephen is survived by his mother, Micaela Madrigal; three daughters, LeAnna (John) Miller of Boulder City, Heather (Scott) Lombardo of Henderson, and Cristal Madrigal of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Tom and Joe Jr.; a sister, Marie Resler; and five grandchildren Stephen, Anthony, Jake, Kylynn and Kristen. A visitation and rosary will be 9-10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, with a funeral Mass to follow, all at St. Andrew Catholic Community Church in Boulder City. Burial will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary.

Just learned of Steve's passing. I always enjoyed running in to him around town and seeing his smiling face. Such a good, nice person. Always very pleasant whenever I saw him. It is disappointing to know that his bright spirit is no longer with us.

Steve was a good man. He rented my wife and I a room at his home when we needed one. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family!
