Stephen Petrillo Obituary

STEPHEN PETRILLO Stephen J. Petrillo, 52, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Port Salerno, Fla., Aug. 6, 2010, after a valiant struggle with health issues. He was born in Providence, R.I., Feb. 14, 1958, moved to Las Vegas in 1978 and has resided in Florida since 1995 - his "paradise on Earth." He worked in telemarketing and was an avid reader, loved golf and all sports. His happiest times were spent fishing and boating in the great Atlantic Ocean. He is survived by his parents, Peg and Jim Petrillo of Las Vegas and Florida; sister, Kathy Petrillo and her spouse, Noel Miner, of Jupiter, Fla.; three brothers, David Petrillo and his wife, Michelle Petrillo, Michael Petrillo and his life partner, Linda Fodor and Paul Petrillo and his wife, Nicole Petrillo, all of Las Vegas; and his four beloved nephews, Joshua, Zackary, Jacob and Dylan. He will be welcomed to Heaven by his grandparents, Hilda and Al Petrillo, Helen Chudzinski, and Edward and Catherine Egan; and uncle, Dickie Chudzinski. Friends of Steve and his family are welcome to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive (W. Tropicana and S. Torrey Pines). Casual attire and please no flowers. Condolences may be sent in care of his parents, Peg and Jim Petrillo, 6185 Sorrel Street, Las Vegas, NV 89118.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Steve in the early 90s when I worked at JGB Enterprises. He will be terribly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
