There are so many memories of my Uncle Wally, it's difficult to choose only one to share! I remember the roar of his loud laughter. I remember the Bonsai Trees he used to make! I remember his handshake was strong.
I looked forward to My Aunt Cheila, Uncle Wally and Carla coming to visit. I enjoyed going to Las Vegas to visit them. I remember when my aunt passed, he had a lonely, blank look on his face. I'm glad he was able to meet another lovely lady to share his life with. Uncle Wally was laid back, always pleasant and dressed nice. Last time I spoke with him was in May 2011. Be invited me to his home, I wish I made the time to go! I miss those Happy Days of family holiday get togethers! They were the Good Ole Days & My Uncle Wally was Very Much A Part of Those Happy Happy Memories!
R.I.P. Uncle Wally ~ I'm sure you've been resting in Peace...

I will never forget Uncle Walt! How I enjoyed his visits us in Westport. I will always remember his wonderful singing, sense of humor, and love of family. His earthly body may be gone, but the love and joy that he brought with him each and every time he came to visit will live on and comfort each of us for all time. You were such a blessing to all who you touched. Much Love Uncle Cowboy.

We remember Uncle Walt with much love. He was a wonderfully happy man. He told great stories. His greatest joy was his daughter Carla. He was so proud of her and Michael, Alex and James. He and Aunt Cecilia together were a loving team. They are together now in God's kingdom. We will always miss them both.

My thoughts and prayers are with Carla, Michael, Alex and James with the loss of Uncle Wally. Although I was young when Aunt Cecilia died, and didnt see Uncle Wally very much after that, I will always love him. He was always kind to me when we would stay to visit. I Love you all!

Our prayers go out to the Roesch family, I know this holiday season his loss will be felt even more. I am sure he is searching for some mistletoe in heaven to stand under with his sweetheart Cecilia right now.

I have nothing but 65 years of wonderful memories of our two families together- two Walters, two graduates of Brooks Institute of Photography, and two characters. They both passed within months of each other, and I believe they are enjoying a beer together and telling one of THOSE jokes! LOL I feel so lucky to have had him in my life. Thanks Carla and hang on to the memories! Love Connie
