Emily Wenner

Emily Wenner, age 6, of St. Clair Shores, returned to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 8 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. Emily was born on February 15, 2004 and was a 1st grader at Violet School in St. Clair Shores. She was the precious daughter of Scott and Jennifer Wenner, special sister of Aidan, loving granddaughter of Bill and Marilyn Walter, Gerald and Beverley Keller and Douglas and Carol Wenner; great-granddaughter of Gerald and Patricia Keller and Gaston and Florence Soenen. Niece of David and Daniel (her Godfather) Walter, Jeffrey and Sandra (her Godmother) Pouttu and Steve Wenner. Cousin of Alexis and Brayden Pouttu. Visitation Thursday 3-9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. In state Friday 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., the time of the funeral service at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 30003 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores with Rev. Jack Cascione officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a tax deductable memorial in the name of Emily may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church with Emily's name on the memo line of the check.
