Gene Shepherd was one of kindness God fearing men I have known. He was such a good instructor to, watched him work on cars, and build things and was gentle in approach to show others! I miss him greatly!

We are so sorry for your loss and we feel so bad that we didnt find out untill this week when we were up north. We feel so lucky that we got to know Gene and my boys will always remember when he taught them how to do C.P.R If there is anything that you need please call.

Lee and Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of Gene. He was an outstanding example of a giving Christian man and touched everyone who crossed his path. We will miss his gentle nature and the kindness he gave to all he met.

Papa Shepherd was a dad to many of us as we grew up. He was a wonderful role model and loving person, who we will all miss so much! Anyone who knew him can count themselves lucky.

Chief Shepherd was a wonderful firefighter, medic, and commander. But, he was an even better man. He is going to be greatly missed. I consider it an honor to have worked with him, and offer prayers for healing to Lee Ann and the family, as well as his firefighter family. Rest in peace, Gene.
