Helen Clara Louise Hickey

Helen Clara Louise (Lamphear) Hickey (nee Sarba) went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2012. She smiled, knowing she would meet again her beloved son Murray and his beloved wife Nancy; her first husband, Harold Lamphear; who reluctantly slipped from this earth in 1975 and her parents, Louis and Clara Sarba; Helen was also predeceased by her sister, Shirley Stoner and her brother, Louis Sarba Jr. Helen leaves behind her loving husband, Earl Hickey; children, Charles (Marilyn), Jimmie (Nancy) and Dr. Marjorie Lamphear; and step-sons, Gerald (Maryann) Schumann and Randall (Lillian) Hickey. She was also blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She had a special relationship with her grandson, Charles Lamphear Jr. and granddaughter, Barbara (Lamphear) Wisniewski and her life-long friends, Mary Smith and Ruth Chesko. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the many loved ones and friends who have been such an enormous support to Helen and Earl, especially these last 6 months. A memorial will be held in her honor at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Saturday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
