PALMIERI, Janice M. (Hunter) Of Braintree, formerly Marshfield and Boston, July 12, 2014, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of John R. Palmieri. Loving mother of John A. "Jack" Palmieri and his wife Cathy of Holbrook, Andrea M. Palmieri-Reinhard and her husband Richard of San Francisco, Christopher DL Palmieri and his wife Janet of Pembroke. Dear Nanya of Brendan and Nicholas Palmieri of Holbrook, Milini Reinhard of San Francisco and Andrew and Nathan Palmieri of Pembroke. Sister of the late Janet and Paul Hunter. Janice was born and raised in Boston before moving to Marshfield for 30 years and then lived in Braintree for the past 20 years. She worked as an RN and a Mental Health Nurse for the Carney Hospital for 37 years and after retiring she ran a clinic at Devon Woods for 5 years. Janice also would read for the blind at WATD radio station. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, BRAINTREE until 10:15 AM on Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Clare Church, 1244 Liberty Street, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
