Larry Lassman Obituary

Lassman, Larry Fraser - Age 63. June 24, 2018 - In loving memory of Larry Lassman. Devoted to family, Larry showed us all how to live life and have fun doing it. Beloved husband to Elizabeth Lassman, proud father to Reese and Angie Lassman, dearest brother to Tim and Mike Lassman, son of Marilynn and Don Lassman, an Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to countless more. For 46 years, Larry and Liz built a beautiful life together, and their home became a place for all to gather. Travelling through life, he viewed the world through experience and translated it through music. Larry is a story teller, a poet, a musician. Larry lived life to the fullest, making sure that there was never a dull moment. His unique sense of humor brought happiness to any situation. To Larry: Life was seen and lived differently by you, and music was your language. Thank you for all the laughs, and for always playing the perfect song. You will be missed but your spirit lives on through us all. We will be celebrating the life and work of Larry Lassman. Please feel free to come and celebrate with us. I just learned of Larry´s passing and very sorry that he didn´t get to enjoy being "the retired guy". He lightened the often serious mood at the workplace. RIP old friend.

I met Larry 23 yrs ago when Michigan Bell moved all their offices to one location in Southfield. They sat us next to each other. It wasnt long before our love of music, personalities & sense of humors made us good buddies. We havent worked together for a while but we kept in touch until maybe 3 yrs ago. I will miss my friend & thank him for making an impossible job sometimes fun. Thanks to the laughs & all the memories Larry. I will always remember & miss you!

I did not see Larry that often but I knew if there was an issue and Larry was on it, it would be resolved. His work ethic and his empathy for the customer will be greatly, missed. He was a great teammate to those around him and to AT&T. God Bless

Liz, so sorry to hear this news. Scott called me. I'm sending you my prayers. I fondly remember all the times when we were kids, especially since Larry and I were close in age. Have faith that this is really not the end that one day you will be reunited.
