MARION HUGOS

HUGOS, MARION (nee KEABLES) Age 93, of St. Clair Shores, Mich. died December 17, 2013, at St. Johns Hospital. She was born in Little Falls, New York on August 23, 1920, the daughter of Austin and Geneva (Coggins) Keables. While growing up she lived in Lowell, Mass., Saco, Maine, Beacon, New York, and Catskill, New York. Graduated from New York State College for Teachers at Albany, New York, taught school in Jeffersonville, New York. Was a physicist at Ansco in Binghamton, New York. She married Henry J. Hugos, a chemist at Ansco, on June 25, 1949, and they lived in Conklin, New York, Oakland, Calif., Binghamton, New York, Lewiston, New York, S. Euclid, Ohio, and since 1964, St. Clair Shores. She has been active in the League of Women Voters, the Association for Retarded Citizen and the Parents Who Care, Historical Society of St. Clair Shores and Family Geneology.
