When my Mom, Rita, moved to Waltonwood, the first people she met were Elaine and Richard Yata. Unbelievable that she remembered him being a football player for Boys Cathokic Central 70 YEARS AGO!!!!! I don't think she had ever met him but he certainly made an impression. What a compliment to Richard. He, Elaine, my Mom and a few others sat at The Rpound Table in Waltonwood's dining room. It was like the "cool kids" table in a high school cafeteria.
My Mom passed in January of 2015. The loss of a loved one is so sad but what a life he had!
