Robert "Bob" Nazar

1948 - 2016

Nazar, Robert “Bob”, age 67, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Bob was born on August 10, 1948 in Canada to Alexander and Dorothy Ruth (nee Markham) Nazar. Bob proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm. Bob enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments as a Confederate and did this for many years. He had an extensive coin collection and would never turn down an opportunity to ride his Harley. Bob loved to play the lotto and made sure he never missed a drawing. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. Bob is survived by his siblings, Sydney Nichiow, Jill (Anthony) Berardi, Markham Gregory Nazar and Kimberly (Frank) Wheeler; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many dear friends. Memorial visitation Saturday, April, 16 2016 from 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. sharing time at Tiffany-Young, Hauss & Modetz Funeral Home, 73919 South Fulton, Armada.
