Susanna Suszko

Suszko, Susanna 96, of Sterling Hgts., MI, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the home of her daughter, Donna, surrounded by family. She was born March 28, 1922 in Belletown, PA, daughter of the late Michael Jurban and Xenia Mary Buriak Jurban. Susanna was a member of St. Basil Byzantine Catholic Church. She was active in the American Cancer Society, Easter Seals and St. Macrina Guild. She is survived by her two children, daughter Donna and son Andrew (Elizabeth); close friend Kathy Roby; grandchildren Karen Schwartz (Pete), Drew (Jennifer) and David (Taylor); and great grandchildren Libby Rae, Violet and Wyatt; and Don (Marlene) Suszko and Dolores Suszko. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Suszko; three brothers: Michael, George and Joe; six sisters: Mary Wargo, Helen Hellman, Margaret Smith, Joanna Pauley, and Anna and Elizabeth Jurban. Friends and family will be received between 2 and 9 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2018; Parastas will be at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Bagnasco and Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Hgts., MI 48312: http://www.bcfh.com. Funeral in state 9 am until Funeral Services at 10 am, Thursday April 26, 2018 at St. Basil Byzantine Catholic Church, 4700 Metro Parkway, Sterling Hgts., MI with Fr. Mychail Romanynowycz presiding over the liturgy. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetary, Clinton Twp, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Susanna Suszko to the St. Macrina Guild, St. Basil Byzantine Catholic Church, 4700 Metro Parkway, Sterling Hgts., MI.
