Dear Penny and Family,
Your Mom was a very loving, caring and giving woman. Her heart was large and she made everyone she came in contact with feel special.
I will always remember her love of flowers and the corsages she would make us from the flowers in her garden.
She would pin the corsages at the waistline of our dresses if we were attending a wedding, or hand us a bunch to hold in our arms, so that our pictures would look special.
I will never forget the pink rose blouse with the peterpan collar and the blue satin slippers she gave me for the surprise 17th birthday party she planned for me.
Your Mom was always thinking and doing wonderful things for others. She instilled in us, as well, to be very caring people. I am blessed for having known her.
Your Mom was an angel on earth. Had it not been for your mom I would not have met my late husband. She will continue to be an angel from above--looking out for all of those she loved.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers tonight.
Love,
Jan, Dawn, and Lauren Suda, (Brighton, MI) and Hilda Young (Rochester, MI)

I was the second to the youngest cousin in the Cichowlas/Chicklas family so I always felt that I was paid a lot of attention, but especially by Aunt Terry. I loved going to her house, eating holiday meals downstairs, listening to the family musicians. Aunt Terry was a great cook, and she always seemed so vivacious and happy. She loved life and lived it to the fullest! May you rest in peace, Aunt Terry. Love, Janice

Aunt Terry had a terrific laugh and I still have the Monapoly game she gave me for Christmas as a 12 year old kid some 53 or so years ago. I have many fond memories of holiday get togethers with my cousins. Then, there were those hair cuts from my Uncle Sky that I will not forget -- but did NOT enjoy. Ugh. Us kids had great times and those are just some of my memories of this great lady. Aunt Terry we miss you.

My Mother, Our lives are so beautiful, so fragile, so intricately joined to others on our path. May you rest, in peace and visit with those who have gone before. It is heartbreaking for you to leave us but we have memories that will live forever in our hearts.
