We were shocked and saddened to hear of Wanda's passing! Our deepest sympathy!
Wanda was one of the people I wish I had know better and seen more often. We have fond memories of running into you at Becky's performances, and we enjoyed your company at WTHS/WKHS class reunions. If fact I am on the committee for the 50th (wow!) coming up this fall, and Althea and I had hoped to see the two of you at Mackinac! Not to be. So sad.

What does one say to friends we've known forever about the passing of a friend, wife and mother. Threre is little to ease the pain, but hearing again how the precious times were, might help a little. Beautiful Wanda was such fun in our lives - Evenings at the O Club, parties at the Bahlings and military balls, she always stood out. She made everything fun. You'll be dearly missed friend, and always in our hearts. Sleep well Wanda!

Becky, you and your family are in our hearts and minds. We are so sorry to hear Wanda has been called home at a time that seems too soon in our minds. While I didn't really know her, I remember how faithfully she and your dad showed up for everything you did while in school at Michigan. It was such fun being parents of talented kids at Michigan, and she seized those precious times. I can see that you know you were well blessed to have Wanda for your mother. She set the bar high and expected the most from herself first.
My prayers are for all of your family - for comfort, strength and courage to live into your futures with her example and her guiding and loving spirit ever with you, close in heart and mind. Her pain and ordeal are over. You helped her through it with your love and devotion. She is free and goes on in God's eternal light and love, joined with all those who have preceded her. Wanda knows more of the feast to come with the One who authored life. She faithfully completed the journey on earth, loving and serving as we are called to do. She has her beautiful reward.

My heart aches for your loss Garry. I was fortunate to be taken under Wanda's wings many years ago. In her presence, she always made me feel special. She was a friend, a confidant, and an angel of comfort. There are only a handful of people who come into our world, and touch our lives in a dramatic fashion. Some people are “flickers of light” during a long life, while others consistently glow for years. For all of her friends, …Wanda was a consistent glow.
