Alexandra Flynn Obituary
Hillcrest - Sandy Flynn, 82, of Hillcrest passed away 1/16/18 at the Vestal Park Nursing Center. She was predeceased by parents Alex and Anna Goobeck and sister Eleanor Berray. She is survived by her children Greg(Joanne), Kathy Czebiniak(Rick), Tim, Dan, and Kelly Johnson(Darryl), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Betty Rosenkrans, a niece and several nephews. She attended a one-room schoolhouse, Fenton #7 Nowlan Rd., and graduated from North High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for the local Grand Union Supermarket and as a teller for Marine Midland Bank. Later she began a career dealing antiques. Sandy was a fixture at flea markets and auctions around the area. Her primitives and collectibles could be found from Frog Alley, Clinton St. to the big Madison-Bouckville show. Sandy was a country girl who loved her horses, long walks on the back hill, and picking fistfuls of 4 leaf clovers. She'll be remembered by all for her feisty spirit. A funeral service will be held at Chase and Son Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.

Sorry to read of the loss of your mom.
I remember going on service calls with my dad to your mom's old place on Nowlan Rd., before the new house.
That takes me back! Kurt and I were little, then.

To Sandy's beautiful family, I am so very, very sorry for the loss of your dear Mother and my BFF Sandy. We have been Friends since 1954. I love her picture and everything you wrote in her Obituary. It was perfect. She certainly was fiesty.... I am sure all your good memories will help you at ths difficult time. I am so thankful I too have such good memories. To Greg, Kathy, Tim, Dan, and Kelly and families; so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. When I paled around with Kathy and Tim in the day your mom was always nice to me. She raised 5 great kids. Schoolhouse #7 Fenton has lost a good one.
