Nedra my friend, I have fond memories of Derrick laughing and being a fun, thoughtful and loving person. He was truly special and touched the lives of many. Our hearts are heavy and will miss this beautiful soul. May our spirits be lifted knowing he is at home with the Lord. Love you and will continue to keep you and the family in my prayers. John 14: 1- 3 "Let not your hearts be troubled: ye believe in God; ye believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Gone is the face I loved so dear, Silenced is the voice I loved to hear. He is gone too far for sight or speech, But not too far for thought to reach.
