Macon, Georgia - Services for Annette J. Battle are 11:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2024 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Delta Sigma Theta Omega Service and visitation are 6:00 PM Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Hutchings Funeral Home, Inc.
Miss Battle was born in Macon to the parentage of the late Charlie, Sr. and Alice Holt Battle. She was educated in the Bibb County School system and was a graduate of Savannah State University. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and was an educator for 37 years at L. H. Williams Elementary School.
Survivors include: son, Abraham (Breon) Cornelius; brother, Richard Battle, Sr. and a host of other relatives.
