Arthur Freeland Obituary
July 25, 1947 - January 8, 2022
Sylvania, Georgia - Dr. Arthur Linton "A.L." Freeland, 74 of Sylvania, passed Saturday morning, January 8, 2022 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Thursday morning, January 13, 2022 at 11:00AM in the Screven Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Jim Cheyne officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior at the gravesite.

I rememberr Al from high school years. He was 7' foot tall in high school. Needless to say he was a good basketball player at Dublin High School.
I also remember his mom and dad, Al had a very nice family growing up.

Very sorry to hear of Dr. Freeland's passing. Much respect to him and Mrs. Freeland as they were a huge impact on our school system (Jasper County Comprehensive High School) transitioning from the Credit System to the Quarter System in their 1st Year of 1976. Prayers to you all and God Bless.
