Arthur "Art" M. Goddard -HAWKINSVILLE, GA - Arthur "Art" M. Goddard, 80, of Hawkinsville, GA died Friday, February 3, 2006 in Macon, GA. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 2P.M. in the Chapel at the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Jackson-Adams officiating. -Mr. Goddard was a native of Winsted, Connecticut. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Mary Kicklighter Sunday School Class and the Fellowship Group at the church. He was retired from the Postal Service. He was a member of AARP, N.A.R.F., and an Army veteran of World War II. -Survivors include his wife, Mary Atkins Goddard of Hawkinsville, GA; daughters, Susan L. Hoss of Hawkinsville, GA, Betty A. Massengill of Knoxville, Tennessee; sons, Buddy Goddard of Palatka, Florida and Tom Goddard of Hiliard, Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. -In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church. -Clark Funeral Home Hawkinsville, GA in charge of arrangements.
