Macon, Georgia - Funeral services for Arthur Howard will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in the Chapel of Jones Brothers Mortuary. Interment services will follow in Union-Bibb Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 7181 Zebulon Road, Macon, Ga. Mr. Howard, 78, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023.
The family will greet friends Saturday - Tuesday from 1PM - 3PM, and 5PM - 8PM.
Public viewing will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 4 PM - 5 PM at Jones Brothers Chapel, 3035 Millerfield Road. FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED.

Arthur was a family friend as my parents worked with him through the Postal Service. He was know to me as Uncle Arthur. He would always be smiling and joking around and made me smile a lot as a kid. He was a good man and my condolences go out to his Family, Friends, and all who knew him. May you rest in peace Uncle Arthur and add more joy to those above!

Uncle Arthur, you had told me I wasn´t a real driver till I got my first ticket. And VAPD caught me and I had the time to tell you all about it. I´m definitely going to miss the times when we both couldn´t hear each other saying "huh" and laughing it off. I miss you Unc, don´t be up there causing a fuss. I love you

So sad to learn of Arthurs passing. He was our postman for many many many years. He was the nicest,coolest cat in town!!! No doubt he got a 1st class route to the Kingdom in the sky! Love & light to all family & friends.

Arthur Howard , was one of a kind. He had a big heart and loved to joke around. He was all about serving every customer on his mail route. He was as friendly as they come. Sorry to hear about him passing. I worked at the post office for thirty eight years, and Arthur had many more years than me.
