Macon, Georgia - Funeral Services for Ashlei Cason will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Peter Baptist Church , 1361 Fort Hill St, Macon, GA 31217. Interment – Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Gray, GA.
Ashley was a graduate of Northeast High School and also attended Fort Valley State College where she received her Master's Degree.
Survivors: her mother, Ruby Hicks Cason; sister, Nadia Bailey Ford; brother, Melvin Chavez Cason.

Ms. Cason was my 8th grade teacher in cirrus, I'm in 10th grade now and I just found out about this ever since I left and moved onto highschool I've missed her everyday, I still remember the hugs she gave me all full of love I wish i could have been there today to see her one last time, i love Ms. Cason so much.

Ms. Cason you were my Favorite Teacher... I hope you are enjoying your evening in heaven being the Angel you are, always uplifting me motivating me to do better, making me smile, and calling me by my nickname always made me feel at home and comforted when speaking with you. I am so sad that you are gone.. I want to tell you how high school was going when I seen you and a lot more. But now that you are in heaven I pray and hope that you are at peace. My dear sweet sister and friend!! Since the day we met at FVSU in 2012, we bonded and have been close ever since and you were soo sweet and precious!! You were truly a warrior. Ashlei loved hard. She gave her all to those she loved. Anyone who knew her or even part of her story, knew that she only wanted to be loved. I pray Ashlei found her peace at the end of the day.
Ashlei will be missed.

My precious little Ashley I am at lost for words right now.. when my daughter (Naeshia Tolbert) (Sha Sha) called me saying momma ? Momma ? She gone she gone and i was like who with tears in her eyes and a trimble on her voice she said Ashley momma Ashley Cason I froze!! I was just speechless for minutes... Not my little.chubbied cheek Ashley she said yes maam and together we just held the phone in disbelief.. Baby you took the world by storm with this and I know your place can't be taken. Ashlei was such a beautiful soul. I remember the day I was walking to class at FVSU. We saw each other, and she yelled, "Hey baby!" with the biggest smile on her face. As she was running towards me, I almost cried, because she didn´t know I had such a rough day and that smile and hug was what I needed. The amount of joy that exuded out of her that day was contagious. We knew of each other prior to that day, but that was day she and I became friends. I never told her this, but I needed her that day. Her spirit remained the same. I am thankful for the time she shined her light here. Ashlei you are loved, honored, adored, respected, and remembered. I pray peace and strength be given limitlessly at this time for your family in Jesus´ name. God bless

SUH! You broke me with this one . Sunday was our last conversation, and we made plans to see each other for Christmas.
