Gray, Georgia - Barbara Ann Greene, 62, gained her wings on Monday, January 31, 2022, at an Athens area hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, February 4, 2022, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray.
Mrs. Greene was born January 6, 1960, in Baldwin County and had lived in Jones County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Frank James Broadus, Sr., and Cora Lee Cherry Broadus. Mrs. Greene was a member of Covenant Community Connection Bible Church and was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Lee Broadus; sisters; Reva Pitts and Shirley Bowens.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ray Greene; honorary child, Alfred Broadus; children; Reginald Greene (Michelle), Gordon, Georgia, Juanita Todd (Orlando), Gordon, Georgia, Derrell Greene (Aja), Kathleen, Georgia and Rachel Olvera, Gray, Georgia; grandchildren; Quantavious Bolston, Aja Veal, Quanaja Watkins, Orlando Todd, Jr., Makayla Todd, Mikal Greene, JaJuan Todd, Leticia Olvera, Deandre Greene, Aneesa Greene, Gabriel Greene, Tahlia Greene and Trinity Greene; great-grandchildren; Carson Veal, Masen Whipple and Jace Arnold; sisters; Josephine Cornelius and Lizzie Mae Middlebrooks; brothers; Frank James Broadus, Jr., and Larry Broadus and her devoted friend: Olivia Blount.
