Beverly Wolf Isaac

Beverly Wolf Isaac -MARIETTA - Beverly Wolf Isaac, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia (formerly of San Antonio, Texas) died on February 19, 2012. Born in Macon, Georgia on June 20, 1932, she lived in Marietta, Georgia with her daughter for the last 11 years. -Beverly was the consummate volunteer professional, holding Board positions in Hadassah, National Council of Jewish Women, ORT and many other organizations in San Antonio. At a very young age, she was a gifted musician, winning a scholarship as a junior at Miller High School to attend Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, Michigan. Upon graduation, was given a scholarship to attend The University of Michigan which, at that time, was the premier college for degrees in Music. She was a singer, played the piano and the flute. She met her husband in Savannah, Georgia and began her journey as the wife of a career military officer. While stationed in England, she married and had two children. A member of Congregation Agudas Achim, in San Antonio, Texas, she sang in the choir for over 30 years. After moving to the Atlanta area, Beverly enjoyed volunteering at Temple Beth Tikvah in Roswell, Georgia. -Beverly Isaac is preceded in death by husband, Major Alfred E. Isaac, USAF, Ret. She is survived by her daughter, Bernice Isaac of Marietta, Georgia; son, Maurice Isaac of San Antonio, Texas; siblings, Herbert Wolf of Roswell, GA, Sherry W.
