Cathy, Davida, & Sherrell,
Ms. Catherine was one of the MOST beautiful souls I've ever encountered on this journey called life. She always made me smile & usually belly laugh. She was a joy to know & a life saver (literally) to my mom on many occassions, not just on her death bed, but most esp. then. No task was beyond her. She washed dishes, brought food, & helped in any way mom needed in mom"s last days. I will FOREVER be greatful. She defined the meaning of a TRUE Friend. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. which is saying a lot. I always thought she was a gorgeous woman even till her last days. I always thought of her like a 2nd mother. I knew I could call on her anytime, anyday if I needed her for anything. Few people could live up to her standards these days. She is a woman that I have always looked up to & will forever miss. I am SO VERY SORRY, I did not know that she had passed on from this world. I pray that she & mama are together in heaven. If so, there will never be a minute's peace again, for the rest of the angels, b/c they will keep them a stir with their gifts of gab, I'm sure. I know mama & she will be getting into some kind of mischief, if that's possible, up there. I certainly have some tales to tell of some times they took me w/them on their escapades. They seened to be there for each other in times of good & bad. I still remember being at your house when your dad died. That was a LONG time ago. I am sorry u have now lost both ur parents. It is an awful thing to be left behind. I hope the Lord has given you some peace of mind w/her passing in knowing that she lived EVERY minute to it's fullest & always treated everyone w/the same dignity & respect regardless of whence they came. No one appeared to be any > or < in her eyes, as best as I could tell. She was truly a GRAND LADY! Thanks for sharing her w/me. Love, Teresa Carmichael Miller

I don't know the family personally but am pastor's wife at Victory Baptist in Macon where we have a monthly ladies ministry at Willow Creek where Ms. Sapp resided. She often gave testimonies of her love for the Lord and how she taught Sunday School at her church. She was a great blessing to all of us and she will be greatly missed. I went to be a blessing to her but always left being blessed "by" her.

Davida, your Mom was a wonderful mother. She was so gifted in her sewing, patiently helping design and alter prom dresses for my daughter. I am sure she is now 'shining in heaven'. May God bless you and keep her memories warm.
