Cheryl Conkell Obituary
Gray, GA- Cheryl Turk Conkell, 71, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Dr. Jason Wade officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Conkell was born in Jones County, GA to the late Roy and Jurelle Turk and was a retired civil engineer from RAFB. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and Woodmen of The World. Mrs. Conkell was a loving mother, grandmother and friend that enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Conkell.
Survivors include her four children with former husband Neil Henderson, Sr.: Candace (Wesley) Bridgers, Cindy Williams, Neil "Bubba" (Renee) Henderson, Jr., and Chrystal Henderson; and Eric (Amy) Conkell; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
