Daley Cochran Obituary
March 27, 1997 - November 24, 2012
Forsyth, Georgia- Daley Cochran died Saturday, November 24, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Second Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Reverend Danny Parker and Reverend Dean Clements will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
Daley was born March 27, 1997, in Macon, Georgia. She was a 9th grade student at Mary Persons High School.
Survivors include her parents, Lisa and Herbie Johnson of Forsyth, Billy Wade and Marie Chamblee of Macon, stepsisters, Blair Chamblee and Brooke Ryals of Macon, grandparents, Sylvia Joyce Cochran of Gordon, H. C. Johnson of Forsyth, Betty Clements of Forsyth and James E. Chamblee of Macon, aunt, Amanda (Tommy) Smallwood of Forsyth, cousin, Jon Smallwood of Forsyth, and uncle, Dean Clements of Forsyth.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Save A Pet, PO Box 933, Forsyth, GA 31029.

Lisa just called me yesterday to tell about Daley and I was shocked. My heart goes out to each and everyone. I thank our wonderful Lord for giving me a chance to be a part of Daley life. I meet her through a ad I placed selling my chihuahuas and that wonderful child picked one out and Lisa made her work for it and she did. She would call or text me everyday to let me know what she was doing and how much she had saved to get theo. We would talk for a longtime and I would send her pictures of everything that he was doing. Finally they came to pick him up and they fell in love with others so they ended up getting 3 chihuahuas from me and I couldnt me happier. I knew they were doing to a wonderful and loving home. Daley you sure will be missed and Lisa I know its got to be hard but remember she is walking the streets of gold now. You will be in my prayers.

My first impression of Daley will never be forgotten, she loved my "redneck ice packs" as she called them...My heart aches for all of her loved ones, May God give each of you strength and wisdom to face tomorrow...I could never begin to imagine why God would take someone such as her, so young and full of life however, there is one thing I am sure of: Heaven certainly gained one beautiful, beautiful angel and she will be forever looking over each of you. Lisa, I know that your heart is breaking in millions of pieces. It has to be horrible loosing your only child. Just know that she is now in heaven and the Angels of Love are holding your precious baby in their arms. I pray that you will find peace and comfort in the days to come. I only had the chance to meet Daley once but my first impression of her was she is such a beautiful and sweet girl. I wish I had of had the chance to know her better. Lisa, my dear ole friend. Many years have come an gone since we ourselves were the same age as Daley. So many memories come to mind. When I heard of this tragic loss all I could do was cry. I was never blessed to meet your Daley but once I saw her pictures it was like looking at you at that age! With all the memories that we made together an not being able to be with you to help comfort you at such a time just breaks my heart. Lisa my heart goes out to you and your family. You all have been through so much losing loved ones in the past an now another loss. I pray The Lord will wrap his loving arms around you an give you comfort during this time. I dont know why God had to take Daley so young.. maybe he needed another beautiful angel and knew she could fill that place with no problem. Daley was like my sister, always had my back threw the thick and thin, helped her when we went to the barn feeding the horses. She loved her horses and loved to ride. <3 Everybody is grieving and missing her because of how great of a person she really was. Before i moved, we did everything together an spent eery moment and weekend we could together. We helped each other pick out our shoes when we went shopping together for the 8th grade dance last year. After i moved we just slowly stopped talkin and inside it killed me.. i kept promising her i would come see her but i didnt cause i was scared.. scared that our friendship wouldnt be as strong as it was before. But a lesson was learned by all, I just dont understand why God chose her, maybe its cause it had a stronger impact on how many lives she touched in her short time. Now I thank the Lord above for letting me wake up in the mornings because all around the world people plan for tomorrow and take for granted that there will be a tomorrow. you never know when your time is going to end so live today as the last. It still feels as a dream that shes gone but in reality shes still around watching ver everyone keeping them safe. And I pray for Momma Lisa that she gets through I pray for the whole family. And i miss her like crazy.. </3

I am more than sorry for your loss. I do not know her and have never met her, but I keep up with the news a lot on my phone and reading about this saddens my heart.
