Daniel Hanson Obituary

Warner Robins, Georgia - It is with great sadness to announce that Daniel (Dan) Alan Hanson Sr., of Warner Robins, Georgia, has left this world for the next on October 2, 2021. He was 60 years old.
Dan was a very beloved father, grandfather and brother. He was born in Macon, Georgia and lived in the Middle Georgia area his entire life. He graduated from Southwest High School in Macon and was a hard working man who spent 42 years of his life as an employee of Fox Appliance Parts (Trible's Inc.) of Macon, Georgia. He loved football, racing, golf and, most importantly, cooking. But, above all, he loved his family.
Dan was the son of the late G.W. Hanson and Bessie (Barker) Hanson.
Dan is survived by his two children; Daniel Hanson Jr., (Niki) of Culloden, Georgia and Johnathon Hanson (Katie) of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandson, Chase Hanson of Culloden, Georgia; sisters; Pamela Tanner (Mike) of Lexington, North Carolina and Linda Mattingly (Jim) of Clermont, Florida; nephew, Ray Tanner (Kelli) of Macon, Georgia; and nieces; Melissa Knighten (Jay) of Macon, Georgia and Rachel Mattingly (Ryan) of Clermont, Florida.
Simply Cremation of Middle Georgia is in charge of arrangements. The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.
Donations may be made in Dan's memory to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Suite A, Macon, GA 31201.

Dan was a special friend. i knew him as long as he was with fox. if i had needed a special part it was Dan the man. he will be missed greatly. i feel as i have lost a brother. rest in peace my dear friend.
