TWIGGS COUNTY, GA- – David Richard Sangster, SR. was born July 24, 1937 to Earl and Georgia Thompson Sangster. They preceded him in death, as did his siblings; Thelma Sangster, Virginia Hay, Earlene Leatherwood, Oscar Sangster and Watson Sangster. Born and raised in Twiggs County, he lived there his entire life, except for his four years in the Air Force. He retired from RAFB.
David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jewell Douglas Sangster, his children and their spouses, Beverly Anis, Yvonne Neill, Lynn Jones (Rick), and David Sangster, JR. (Sheryl). He is also survived by his grandchildren and their spouses; Matt Sangster (Sandy), Lee Cooper, Casey Cooper, Bridgitt Knight (AJ), Christopher Neill, Rebecca Neill, Travis Neill, Heather Mullis(Eric), Joshua Watkins (Amanda), Rachel Bostian (Donnie), David Sangster, III(Brittany), and Paige Sangster. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Gavin, Emma, HunterEthan, Christian, Steven Lee, Ragan, Rylee, Mila, Aiden, Mckennah, Kinlee, Isabella, David IV, Caleb, and Eve. He is also survived by his siblings, Leonard Sangster, Frank Sangster, Carolyn Sangster, and special nephew, Rory Sangster.
David was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He died at home on November 7, 2017.
Funeral services will be held November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Reverend Charles Carter will be officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday November 10, 2017 at Reece Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The family will greet visitors at the home of Lynn and Rick Jones, 471 Ray Dr., Macon, GA 31217

Lynn Jones and Family,
