Macon, Georgia - A Celebration of life for Deborah Patricia Poe-Rogers will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Greater Turner Tabernacle AME Church, 1104 3rd Street, Macon, GA 31201. Public Viewing and Visitation will be Friday, November 21 from 5-6:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Home.
Deborah Patricia Poe-Rogers, age 73, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. Born on January 26, 1952, in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Louise Evans Poe and Cordele Poe.
Deborah was a devoted Servant of God, serving in multiple roles as Choir Pianist, Choir Director, President, Secretary, and Treasurer. She served as a Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 21 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two devoted daughters, Jimi' E. Rogers (Manson) and Enid Taylor (Calvin); two loving sisters, Cordelia O. Poe, and Violet B. Poe; three godbrothers, Richard A. Billingslea, Chico V. Scott, Sr., and George B. Hill, III (Dorothy); and a host of cousins, former co-workers, and dear friends who will forever treasure her gracious heart and joyful spirit.
