Byron, GA- Dennis James Ryckman Sr. 66 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 30, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:00AM at Peach County Fire Department Station 1, 6711 Peach Parkway, Byron GA. Burial will be private.
Mr. Ryckman was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Cecil and Marjorie Ryckman. He worked in Public safety for forty eight years; started when he was eighteen. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Dixie Ryckman; both sets of grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ryckman, Byron, GA.; parents, Cecil and Marjorie, Lewiston, Michigan; brother, Randy (Carol) Ryckman, Lewiston, Michigan; son, D.J. (Marge) Ryckman Jr, Connecticut; three daughters, Shannon (Matt) Morrish, Michigan; Brandy (Woodrow) Jackson, Byron; Jennifer Avant, Gray; eight granddaughters; one grandson; two great granddaughters; one great grandson, mother-in-law, Shirley Barnhart.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help take him back to Michigan.
