Dorothy Staggers Everett -PERRY, GA - Dorothy Staggers Everett, age 90, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Autumn Terrace. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 8, 2007 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Funeral services will be held at 3P.M. on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Mobile, AL with Rev. David Mauldin and Rev. Ed Thomas officiating. The family will greet friends at the church after the service. The interment will be at 5P.M. on Saturday, June 9, 2007 in Memory Gardens of Fairhope in Fairhope, AL. -Mrs. Everett, born in Atlanta, GA on July 22, 1916, was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ethel Cochran. She was employed as a Ladies Clothing Buyer at Kirven's Department Store in Columbus, GA and at Parker's Department Store in Auburn, AL. Later, she received her L.P.N. license and became a volunteer nurse in Mobile. An avid bridge player, she was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Mobile. -Survivors include her children, Thomas I. Storey (Connie) of Perry, GA; David Storey (Victoria) of Orlando, FL; and Daniel Storey of Sarasota, FL; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
